We are soliciting donations for "Legacy" scholarships. If you would like to give a scholarship in the name of a family or a loved one, we will issue the scholarship to Palm Beach County students applying to the Chapter. The donor(s) may specify the amount, type (regular or book), as well as, the qualifications (major, classification level etc.). Please send all donations, or inquiries to Wanda Thomas, Chairperson or Nicole Jones, President.

CONGRATULATIONS TO OUR 2009 FAMU Presidential Scholarship Recipients:
On Friday, March 13, 2009 the FAMU Connection performed at Palm Beach Lakes High School where one student received a full scholarship. Ten partial scholarships were awarded ranging from $4,000 to $16,000.
"It was a great tour," said Ammons. "It gave us an opportunity to recruit some of the best and brightest students the state of Florida has to offer. "I believe we achieved what we set out to do. We wanted students and their parents to know that even though these are tough economic times for many, FAMU has made a commitment to the academically talented."
